These periodic “mini-retreat” sessions provide the perfect opportunity to deepen your practice. No worries - it is not a yoga marathon! There will be plenty of time to explore diverse movement and yoga asana (poses) through yin and yang shapes, enjoy a restful savasana (relaxation) and experience various meditation styles. Each session has a specific focus and theme.
We live in a busy world with an increasing amount of stimulation, demand and distraction. This can easily overload the nervous system making us feel anxious, stressed or depressed. Why not take some extended time to remove yourself from the usual routine? These mini-retreat sessions are an ideal way to practice self-care without having to pack and travel.
Consider bringing a notebook or journal.
