Meditation & Dharma with Janine

Looking at Meditation Practice

Program postponed until later in the year. Check back for new dates.

Explore your meditation through inquiry, honesty and openness so it feels authentic to you, your needs, and how you can be of most benefit for yourself and the world.

~ What does meditation practice mean to you?

~ Why do you practice?

~ Are you consistent?

~ Is practice a joy or a chore?

~ How do you practice - do you have a structure or not?

~ Do you tend to practice in a group or alone, with silent or guided meditation?

~How do different conditions affect your practice experience?

These are among the questions we will explore alone-together

SCHEDULE & FORMAT:

Sessions take place via Zoom on Thursday mornings, 10:00-11:30 Eastern Time.

Janine will contact you with Zoom link and other pertinent information once you register.

In these weekly Thursday morning classes, we will delve into Looking at Meditation Practice through meditation, contemplation, teaching, Q&A and discussion.

We will spend several weeks, May 20 through June 24, working with Looking at Meditation Practice, spending time with different facets to explore how they impact our experience and daily lives - how meditation can become who we are and not just what we do.

The intent of the program is to augment relationship to meditation practice and to support our experiences "off the cushion." A few resources will be shared but the program is mostly contemplation and practice both on and off the cushion.

PROGRAM RESOURCES & SELF STUDY OPTION:

It is ideal to join the weekly sessions and community. However, if you are motivated you could do this as an "on demand" self-study type program.*

For those who register, you will have access to a private, password-protected page of the website where you will receive resources and practice suggestions. This will be a "closed" group to enhance focus and intimacy.

If you miss a session, you will have access to the recordings on the private page of the website. The meditations will be recorded separately for easy use and reference.

*And you could use this as a completely "at your own pace" self study program. You do not have to join the weekly live Zoom meeting (or even have a Zoom account) to still be able to access everything on the private, password-protected page of this website.

COST:

A percentage of the proceeds will be dedicated to the Tranquil Flame Scholarship Fund to help those with financial needs attend retreats and other events or programs.

All prices below include the Thursday morning classes and allow access to the private website page with resources and class recordings. Choose the "sliding scale" option which best aligns with you and your needs.

Benefactor: $120

Sustaining: $80

Supported: $50

NOTE: If you prefer to pay by check, make 2 payments, or you would like to request financial support, then please contact Janine: janine@tranquilflameyoga.com
