The Fall Equinox marks the first day of Autumn, the celebration of Harvest. Day and Night are equal in length reflecting a time of balance. This is Nature’s last dance before resting for the winter season. It is a time of reaping, thankfulness, and conservation. We will honor the Fall Equinox through specifically designed yoga, meditation and reflection with sound therapy.
We are excited to have Joseph Carringer return to play his Australian Aboriginal didgeridoos! Janine will lead you into gentle, restful poses for each of the seven chakras while Joseph plays one of his didgeridoos, specific to each chakra.
The chakras are energy centers in the body. There are 7 main ones and each connects to our well-being in different ways on all levels - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
The didgeridoo is an ancient musical instrument and powerful tool that can help lift an individual's vibration back to a less chaotic and natural rhythm. It does this by producing a broad range of harmonics in an ancient and universal tone. You are welcome to attend and simply rest during the class and still receive the healing effects of the didgeridoo.
